1 Pissed Off Reaper [Action/Voice]

[Alright, let's review: One, she was supposed to be in her cabin waiting for the ship to arrive at the Derelict, two, she's not supposed to have a blaring headache crunching her skull, and three, she's not supposed to be feeling like complete crap barring said headache. So, Luceti, here's her question: why has she been unceremoniously dumped into a forest that doesn't even look like Pragia's greenery, and why does she have a sundress on? She would really, really, really like to know. Sure doesn't help that the familiar, cool feeling of her room is gone and replaced with the humidity of the forest. It wakes her right up when she gets over her initial physical screwball.

There's a slight groan before she starts sitting up.] ...Feels like I just downed a glass of ryncol...what the hell happened...?

[It doesn't take her long to actually stand up, either. Those synthetic parts are a lifesaver, even if she didn't ask for them; when her eyes focus, though, she finds herself staring at her surroundings. ...Alright...where the hell was she?] ...Pragia? No, it couldn't be. [There's too little greenery compared to that forest planet, and none of it's clinging onto any buildings...so where does that put her? Earth? One of the colonies? She's not sure. As with the other discoveries, very little time passes before she finds red wings stuck on her back -- it's as if the Illusive Jackass wanted to screw around with her even more. <_< There's not a peep from her for a while before she starts restraining the urge to shoot something -- like she could, without her trusty pistol...

But something else catches her eye and makes her curiosity resurface -- the journal with her name, and her clothing sitting there right next to it. Not realizing that it can transmit her voice just yet, she picks it up and stares at it.] This looks pretty old-fashioned...why would anyone use this?

[Oh, if only you knew. Feel free to chime in while she inspects it -- it'll be a nice surprise. :P]

We all do at first, Commander. Unfortunately, I don't think there is much of a map available. I can give you the tour, if you'd like, though.

And if you don't mind my asking, where's your uniform from? What military?

That'll suffice. [There's just a moment's thought before she answers Luke's other query. Ahaha, that's...a touchy subject, actually. Probably made all the more obvious by how she seemingly glares at the insignia on the chest region. <_<] Let's just say I'm stuck working with terrorists, and leave it at that for now. It's a long story.

Fair enough. I don't recognize it all the same, but I'm fairly sure the military I've served in is equally meaningless. [He flashes his New Republic General's seal. The rank at least should be recognizable]

Sure, you do. Doesn't mean I don't have the right to be suspicious. [Just gonna hold that smirk if he doesn't mind, haha. What now, master thief? :P]

[He laughs.] Oh, no. You can be as suspicious as you want, but my girl will kill me if I tried anything right now. Literally.

[General, huh. There's something she wasn't quite expecting to see. She'll save the comments for when she arrives; better to talk in person, really.]

Stuck sitting in the forest. [She gives him a quick view of her surroundings before returning it to her face. So, Luke? Does that look familiar enough a place for you to work with?]

Its enough of one. You're not far from the river, R2 should be able to pick up on your lifesigns. I'll be there shortly.

[A whistle and beep may be heard off screen before the journal closes and Luke's on his way]

[Huh, what? What was that beeping she heard? ...Unfortunately, it's too late for her to ask about that in kind, seeing that the transmission's cut off, so--not much else to do but take a seat and look around. ...Not such a bad thing, come to think of it, since she's got some fresh air and no guns aimed at her for a change.]

Heh. I'll stay out of it, then.

[She keeps that same smirk held for just a bit longer--]

[--before taking a seat and cupping her chin with one hand. She's still got a few unanswered questions, like...hmm.] Color me curious. Where does everyone go for sparring, anyway? Sure, there's holding it outdoors, but...

[30 minutes or so later, Luke and R2D2 come into the little clearing where Shepard is sitting. R2's sensors had helped him pinpoint things more precisely, and the little droid is happily buzzing along, being R2D2. Luke himself is wearing his black suit, with a pair of lightsabers hooked to his belt]

Commander Shepard, I presume? Its nice to meet you. This little guy is R2D2, an Astromech droid from home.

Try not to wear it out. [There's a flash of a grin there, momentary as it may be, as she gets up and looks over at the adorable little machine. Huh...seems like tech on par with what she's seen -- not quite the kind she recognizes, but all the same. And it looks like it's got a VI, she muses, observing it closely.] Interesting friend you have there. What's his job?

[Luke runs a hand over the droid's dome]

This little guy? He does a little bit of everything. His original function was to interface with a ship's hyperdrive and act as a navicomputer, as well as take care of computing and onboard repairs for starfighters. But over the years he's developed quite the feisty personality, and he's a quick learner.

--We have a Battle Dome to the south of town. It's the most high tech structure in the village, complete with simulation rooms. You can program intensive combat scenarios with them....or, you could program a swanky spa room. Think of it as something kind of like a Holodeck--anything you can imagine, you can do in there.

And now he's your assistant? Something along those lines? [Now she's piqued. But then, if she's gotten her stuff snatched, then that means she doesn't have her omni-tool. Great. She can't scan this thing yet. >_>]

Not even a single limitation, eh? Handy. [She'll have to drop by there later once she's settled in. ...Though there's the matter of her things... :|] ...By the way, you happen to know where I can find my stuff? Not that I'm a scared goose or anything, but I'm not going around town without a pistol at least.

[Plus, if there's trouble, what's she gonna fight back with? A Shepard Punch? ...Okay, that might still be effective, but. >_>]

Nope, no limitations, except for that safety that's programmed into it. You know, so you don't accidentally get yourself killed in a session.

[He chuckles, though the sound is a little bitter. He needs to stop making those jokes.]

...remember how I said that we have no money? Well, we also have shops where you can find your belongings--they're not really shops, but using that name makes it easier to talk about them.

There's separate shops for weapons, food, clothes, and other general goods, so you shouldn't have a problem finding your pistol. Just be careful about being trigger happy, because ammo isn't always the easiest thing to find around here.

A companion. Artoo has saved my life more times than I can count.

[Turning away, he offers a salute]

Still, its nice to meet you. Why don't we get you into town, Commander? You're lucky your clothes show up here.

You've got a good friend, then. [AI or not, a friend's a friend, really. She'll nod and start walking in whichever direction Luke goes.]

I've been waiting for someone to do that all morning. [A small chuckle, and a cross of her arms as she goes.]

[He'll toss you a bottle of water and a wrapped up sandwich as well, before starting off towards town, slowly so you can keep up.]

I brought food, its usually best to get something in your system when you can after landing.

Had time to read through some of the guidebook yet?

[Yeah, that's gonna get a bitter laugh out of her too. ...Though it's for completely different reasons than what he's got, most likely.] Gee, real nice of them to show concern. [An overall remark to what he's explained thus far; whoever her captors are, it's probably more than clear by now that she doesn't like getting yanked by her chain. <_< ...The ammo bit does catch her attention, though. Who even uses that these days? The only worry she has is when it overheats.] I'm guessing weapon tech here isn't exactly up to speed.

[Don't mind if she catches that and starts munching, then, with a little nod of thanks as a gesture. And in between bites--] Can't say I have yet, but I'm planning on a thorough reading later. Right now, I think getting shelter would be a better thing to do first.

[They might be more similar than either realize, but neither know that yet.]

That depends on your definition of 'weapon tech.' Another one of my good friends comes from a space-faring world, and he has some cool droids and blasters to his name. We have residents from worlds of every tech level that you can think of, but the variety of tech is largely proportional to the population.

...We don't have many space faring individuals here. There are three from the world I mentioned, and there's another who is some kind of Marine. If you're ever on a mission and you see a very tall person in high tech powered-armor, that's her. We have more...medieval types, or people from around late twentieth or the early twenty-first century Earth, if there's an Earth where you're from.
