1 Pissed Off Reaper [Action/Voice]

[Alright, let's review: One, she was supposed to be in her cabin waiting for the ship to arrive at the Derelict, two, she's not supposed to have a blaring headache crunching her skull, and three, she's not supposed to be feeling like complete crap barring said headache. So, Luceti, here's her question: why has she been unceremoniously dumped into a forest that doesn't even look like Pragia's greenery, and why does she have a sundress on? She would really, really, really like to know. Sure doesn't help that the familiar, cool feeling of her room is gone and replaced with the humidity of the forest. It wakes her right up when she gets over her initial physical screwball.

There's a slight groan before she starts sitting up.] ...Feels like I just downed a glass of ryncol...what the hell happened...?

[It doesn't take her long to actually stand up, either. Those synthetic parts are a lifesaver, even if she didn't ask for them; when her eyes focus, though, she finds herself staring at her surroundings. ...Alright...where the hell was she?] ...Pragia? No, it couldn't be. [There's too little greenery compared to that forest planet, and none of it's clinging onto any buildings...so where does that put her? Earth? One of the colonies? She's not sure. As with the other discoveries, very little time passes before she finds red wings stuck on her back -- it's as if the Illusive Jackass wanted to screw around with her even more. <_< There's not a peep from her for a while before she starts restraining the urge to shoot something -- like she could, without her trusty pistol...

But something else catches her eye and makes her curiosity resurface -- the journal with her name, and her clothing sitting there right next to it. Not realizing that it can transmit her voice just yet, she picks it up and stares at it.] This looks pretty old-fashioned...why would anyone use this?

[Oh, if only you knew. Feel free to chime in while she inspects it -- it'll be a nice surprise. :P]

If it's any help, I know about technology that's similar...though the principles behind them might be different from what you're familiar with. [She eyes them for a moment.] Think that's about the only thing I'm not used to.

As for the Normandy, it's a military ship. It used to be for stealth, but after the upgrades I had it outfitted with? Not so much.

[One of the weapons flies into his hand, through the Force] This? Feel free to look it over if you like, just don't point the end at yourself and press the button.

And your mission?

Huh. You're a biotic, too? [No, that's not biotic power, Shepard. :| She presses it just as he dictated, and...stares at the controlled beam that forms right then and there, brow raised.] A laser blade, too? Color me even more curious.

My mission...before I get onto that, here's something you should know first: people back home tend to look to me if they need a normally unfixable situation resolved. My most recent assignment? Beating the hell out of the Collectors. It's not easy. [The last one has that deadpan note she's been using for quite some time now. Clearly, she was understating how bad it was.]

A...biotic?

[Luke pauses for a moment and stops]

You mean the Force?

[...Oh, right. Completely different world...]

...Something like that? Not sure what this 'Force' is, but it sure looks similar to biotics.

[If she had her pistol, she'd demo the ability she's proficient in at the moment. But alas. :|] Think 'telekinesis' and you'd get the gist of what they could do.

Oh, another form of power. Yes, that sounds similar to the Force, but the Force is a lot more varied than Telekinesis. I am a Jedi, and as such have trained to use the Force to do quite a number of things

[And now back to her other comments]

That's my lightsaber, the weapon of a Jedi. Be careful, it can cut through anything short of special minerals. And, who are the Collectors?

Huh. Mind listing them off so I have a good idea of what I'm working with? [This sounds interesting enough. She'll nod and keep what she's learned about this laser blade in mind.]

They're a threat back home. Few ever see them, but I've already skirmished against them twice. [Her expression turns bitter. If that isn't enough, Luke's senses may pick up on some lingering contempt towards those freaks.] They've already abducted entire colonies of humans, and I wasn't able to put a dent in them until recently. I don't know what they're gathering them for, but they messed with the wrong people.

That...could take a while, but a general idea? Telekinesis, precognition, body augmentation, healing, energy manipulation, and telepathy. There's a lot of variety within it, and I don't have total access to every aspect, but I'm proficient with each umbrella of abilities.

[...Wow, that's flexible. 0_o]

So it does a lot more than tossing people around. I'm a little envious. [Only not really--she's just being a silly goose, now. XD]

Well, its something one is born with, Force Sensitivity.

[He's quiet for a moment]

And are there non-human sentients in your galaxy?

[They're still walking, right? XD They should be, otherwise they'll slow down on their way there, pff.]

Quite a few. Mandibled oddballs, four-eyed slave drivers I want to shoot between the eyes, humanoids that can't step out into the open without wearing enviroment-proof suits, bug-eyed scientists...not sure how blue-skinned monogendered humanoids count on the scale though.

Thats good. I've only met one other person here who's encountered non-human sentients. Do the names Covenant, Flood, or Earth mean anything to you?

Hmm. First two don't sound familiar, but Earth definitely rings a bell.

Is it where humans in your reality come from?

Yeah. We wound up finding ancient tech on Mars that propelled us right into the space age, crazy as it sounds. [Not that she was there to witness it; it's what she knows from that vast extanetwork deposit known as the codex.]

Its hardly crazy. Faster than Light travel was discovered in the Galaxy nearly 9,000 years ago.

Huh. You must be further along than I am, in that case.

[Now this is making her curious. Where does that leave him? AD 11,187?] Wait, how does it work in your world, anyway? [An equally perturbed tone. Nice one, Luke, you've got her thinking. :|b]

Well, I'm not from the same galaxy for starters. But how does hyperspace work? The ship accelerates to a faster than light speed and travels through a warp corridor known as Hyperspace. Hyperspace itself is a layer of reality just slightly underneath our own.

Huh. That kind of travel needs two Mass Relays where I'm from.

[If he needs an example, she's willing to give it out. Right now, she's just watching his reaction.]

Ahh. That used to be the case in my galaxy, though hyperspace gates are no longer necessary. Our hyperdrives are only about a meter wide and half meter thick.

[Nope. Nothing special]

[Well, that's got her raising a brow.] Now I'm really envious.

[Not that she really means it... again. XD She actually wants to see what makes it tick, but. Luceti. :|]

Well, sadly I don't have one here, or we'd be long gone.

We're looking at a bit of a list here. Assault rifle, shotgun, heavy pistol, sniper rifle, a suit of armor...last one's the first thing I really need at the moment. There's one more thing I could probably use--something the techs back home called a 'nuke launcher'.
