[Alright, let's review: One, she was supposed to be in her cabin waiting for the ship to arrive at the Derelict, two, she's not supposed to have a blaring headache crunching her skull, and three, she's not supposed to be feeling like complete crap barring said headache. So, Luceti, here's her question: why has she been unceremoniously dumped into a forest that doesn't even look like Pragia's greenery, and why does she have a sundress on? She would really, really, really like to know. Sure doesn't help that the familiar, cool feeling of her room is gone and replaced with the humidity of the forest. It wakes her right up when she gets over her initial physical screwball.

There's a slight groan before she starts sitting up.] ...Feels like I just downed a glass of ryncol...what the hell happened...?

[It doesn't take her long to actually stand up, either. Those synthetic parts are a lifesaver, even if she didn't ask for them; when her eyes focus, though, she finds herself staring at her surroundings. ...Alright...where the hell was she?] ...Pragia? No, it couldn't be. [There's too little greenery compared to that forest planet, and none of it's clinging onto any buildings...so where does that put her? Earth? One of the colonies? She's not sure. As with the other discoveries, very little time passes before she finds red wings stuck on her back -- it's as if the Illusive Jackass wanted to screw around with her even more. <_< There's not a peep from her for a while before she starts restraining the urge to shoot something -- like she could, without her trusty pistol...

But something else catches her eye and makes her curiosity resurface -- the journal with her name, and her clothing sitting there right next to it. Not realizing that it can transmit her voice just yet, she picks it up and stares at it.] This looks pretty old-fashioned...why would anyone use this?

Quite a few. Mandibled oddballs, four-eyed slave drivers I want to shoot between the eyes, humanoids that can't step out into the open without wearing enviroment-proof suits, bug-eyed scientists...not sure how blue-skinned monogendered humanoids count on the scale though.

Thats good. I've only met one other person here who's encountered non-human sentients. Do the names Covenant, Flood, or Earth mean anything to you?

Hmm. First two don't sound familiar, but Earth definitely rings a bell.

Its hardly crazy. Faster than Light travel was discovered in the Galaxy nearly 9,000 years ago.

Well, I'm not from the same galaxy for starters. But how does hyperspace work? The ship accelerates to a faster than light speed and travels through a warp corridor known as Hyperspace. Hyperspace itself is a layer of reality just slightly underneath our own.

Huh. That kind of travel needs two Mass Relays where I'm from.

[If he needs an example, she's willing to give it out. Right now, she's just watching his reaction.]

Ahh. That used to be the case in my galaxy, though hyperspace gates are no longer necessary. Our hyperdrives are only about a meter wide and half meter thick.

We're looking at a bit of a list here. Assault rifle, shotgun, heavy pistol, sniper rifle, a suit of armor...last one's the first thing I really need at the moment. There's one more thing I could probably use--something the techs back home called a 'nuke launcher'.

Something called Shifting technology is our nearest guess. Not sure on the specifics though.

I'll give you a moment to look for your weapons and armor. I wouldn't know what they look like.

Grand. [More of the same old deadpan. :P And when they stop, she turns to him for a moment.] Shouldn't be long before I come across them. I'll be back soon.

[In she goes! ...And it does take a while before she comes back, mainly because she needs to fit the armor to be sure it's as she remembers it. She comes out some time later in a bulky-looking, red suit that, for all intents and purposes, shouldn't be able to move in, and yet, she looks just fine in it. There's a visor over her right eye -- a see-through one; it looks like a HUD of some sort is installed onto it, a scaled down targeting system. As for the rest of her arsenal...all she really has at the moment is a sidearm and a pod for what looks like an LMG. No luck with the rest of her arsenal...damn.] ...S' the most I was able to pick up. Should do me some good, though.

I doubt you'll need the guns, honestly. And I'd be careful about shooting, ammunition here is actually rather rare.
